Rhythm Sticks
 Our
beech rhythm sticks are useful for all the songs
where keeping the beat is suggested. The sticks are
the right size for 'small hands' to be able to work
them, but not so thin that the 'small hands' do not
have to work at all. The colour at one end of the
stick is so that the child's eyes are drawn to the
sticks and also so that there is a reference point
for directional instructions (maths concepts such
as top, bottom, together). At $5 per pair it is
possible to buy a group set so that each child can
join in if they choose to.
